Junior Ranger Academy

Event Description Do you love to explore, discover, and appreciate the outdoors? Then you have what it takes to become an official TPWD Junior Ranger! Join a Park Ranger for a fun and interactive program designed for curious young minds who love Texas State Parks and the natural world. Things You Should Know: -Bring a pencil to complete your junior ranger booklet. -Training will include some hiking and exploring, which can be done on asphalt, level grass, or rocky terrain. -Best for children 6 years old and older. (No maximum age!) -Bathrooms, tables, and drinking water are available nearby. -Adults must accompany their child the entire program. This program maybe cancelled due to weather.

Cost: This event is open to the public and free after regular day-use or camping fees. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (must be purchased before the event)
